Greyhound Walks

If you are considering a greyhound as a pet, why not come along to one of our greyound walks and meet our dogs?

Greyhound Walks have become a very popular feature of the North Yorkshire branch of the RGT. They started because of a chance comment from someone who had adopted a greyhound, that they had never met another greyhound or owner. I knew other branches organised regular walks, I'd even gone to a couple, so I rang round a few people and asked if they would be interested.

As the branch has grown and more greyhounds have been adopted, more people have joined in - new owners, regulars, people that love greyhounds but for various reasons can't adopt one at present - and potential owners, who come along and have the opportunity to chat to many different greyhound owners and find out for themselves how wonderful they are.

If you'd like to join us on a greyhound walk, please telephone Karen Fraser on 01609 761014 for further details and directions.
